AiCommTech Builds a Smart, Active Retirement Life
AiCommTech Co., Ltd. was founded on October 12, 2017. Its core members and shareholders come from the IT and surveillance industries, as well as academic backgrounds in information engineering and biomedical technology. The company mission is to advance high-performance computing, deep learning, and AI applications for the Internet of Connected Things (IoC), and through cross-sector academic-industry collaboration, to offer technology transfer, consulting, software, and systems integration services. In 2018, the company teamed up with professors at Chang Gung University to co-develop a smart preventive healthcare service program, aimed at building a preventive healthcare cloud service system and brand, as well as laying the groundwork for a big data analytics center focused on precision medicine. AiCommTech current solutions in development include an intelligent surveillance video analysis and recognition system, a smart aquaculture image recognition and processing system, intelligent foot traffic and behavior analysis applications, and big data analytics systems for tracking activity participation and satisfaction.
Requirement:
As AiCommTech cloud platform is used by third-party vendors, access needed to be restricted so that individual or multiple third-party vendors could only connect to specific servers, with no ability to export files. For internal management, each department at AiCommTech needed to access its own dedicated servers. To meet these requirements, a separate virtual network was set up for each external vendor and each internal department, using network security groups to isolate access for each one.
