Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

"Netron," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the Netron group of companies. For purposes of this policy, the data controller for the Website is:

Netron Information Technology Pte Ltd

138 Cecil Street, #13-02, Cecil Court, Singapore 069538

info@netron.net

Where you engage Netron for services, the contracting entity responsible for your data (as controller or processor, as applicable) is identified in your service agreement.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Contact and inquiry forms. Name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, country, and the content of your message when you submit an inquiry, request a demo, or contact us.

Newsletter and marketing signups. Email address, name, and consent preferences when you subscribe to updates or marketing communications.

Site analytics and cookies. IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referral source, and behavioral data collected via cookies, tracking pixels, and analytics tools. See Section 7 (Cookies) for details and opt-out options.

Client and customer account data. Where you or your organization engages Netron for managed IT, cloud, or cybersecurity services, we may collect account credentials, system logs, network and infrastructure data, and other personal data your organization stores or processes on systems we manage, monitor, or secure on your behalf.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, biometric, financial account, or government ID data) through the Website unless specifically required for a service engagement and governed by a separate data processing agreement, and we obtain explicit consent where required by applicable law before processing such data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to: respond to inquiries and provide requested information; deliver, maintain, and support our services; send newsletters or marketing communications (with consent, where required); monitor, secure, and troubleshoot client systems under a service agreement; improve the Website and our services through analytics; comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations; and detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents or fraud.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We only process personal data where we have a valid legal basis to do so, which may include: your consent (e.g., newsletter signups, non-essential cookies, sensitive data); performance of a contract (e.g., delivering services you've engaged us for); legitimate interests (e.g., Website security, service improvement), balanced against your rights and freedoms; and legal obligation (e.g., regulatory reporting, breach notification). Where consent is our basis for processing, you may withdraw it at any time, as described in Section 11.

5. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Because Netron operates across multiple markets, personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries other than the one in which it was originally collected, including our offices and infrastructure/hosting providers. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure the receiving party provides a standard of protection comparable to that required under applicable data protection law — for example, through contractual data protection clauses, binding internal policies, or verification that the recipient jurisdiction offers an adequate or equivalent level of protection.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Contact form and newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Client account and service data is retained per the terms of the applicable service agreement and deleted or returned upon contract termination, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for: essential site functionality; analytics, to understand site usage; and, where applicable, marketing/retargeting. Where required by applicable law, we obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies, via a cookie consent banner on first visit. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Website functionality.

8. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, consistent with our position as a cybersecurity provider — including access controls, encryption in transit, network monitoring, and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk of harm to affected individuals, we will notify those individuals and any relevant regulatory authority within the timeframe required under applicable law, and will take reasonable steps to contain and remediate the breach.

10. Netron as Data Processor for Client Data

Where Netron processes personal data on behalf of a client (e.g., as part of a managed cloud, infrastructure, or cybersecurity engagement), we process that data only on the client's documented instructions, under a data processing agreement, and do not use it for our own purposes. Data subjects with questions about data processed in this context should contact the relevant client (as data controller); Netron will support the client in responding to such requests as required by the service agreement and applicable law.

11. Your Rights

Subject to the exceptions and procedures under applicable law, you generally have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal); object to or request restriction of certain processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format, where applicable; and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@netron.net. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

12. Children's Privacy

The Website is directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors, and will delete any such data if identified.

13. Third-Party Service Providers

We may share personal data with trusted third parties who support our operations, including cloud infrastructure providers, analytics providers, and email/marketing platforms, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell personal data.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
